This is definitely a must-see if you're in the Dominican Republic. These are the iconic paradise beaches we've all seen in photos since we were kids. Unfortunately, it's not entirely paradise. Keep an eye on your belongings — our backpacks were opened and searched by someone while left on the sunbeds. Luckily, we had all our valuables with us.

Our experience at Saona Beach was nothing short of magical. Arriving via a tour company, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views right from the boat. As we approached Isla Saona, the crystal-clear waters beckoned us to explore its pristine shores. The afternoon spent at Saona Beach was pure bliss. The views were simply spectacular, with endless stretches of soft sand and azure waters as far as the eye could see. The clear waters of Isla Saona were truly a sight to behold, inviting us to swim, snorkel, and bask in the beauty of nature. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the provided lunch, which exceeded our expectations. Savoring delicious local cuisine while surrounded by such natural beauty was a moment we'll always cherish. Overall, Saona Beach offers an unparalleled experience of paradise. Whether you're arriving through a tour company or seeking a tranquil escape, this pristine island destination promises unforgettable memories and breathtaking views that will leave you in awe.

The excursion package taking us to this beautiful island 🏝 is well organized and professionally managed. Care is taken to protect the local area with slow boat approaches towards the beach line. The tour operators look after all the tourists ensuring they are safe and having a great time within their comfort zones. This national treasure is well preserved and protected and visitors treat it with respect (environmentally). Beautiful day with a beaming sun pumping out 32C temperatures and with barely any clouds in the sky. Caribbean beaches and waters are a true wonder of the world.

The island itself is gorgeous. Its very hot and almost no wind out there, clothes with long sleeves for sun protection might be handy. Be careful if you plan to eat there, we got mild symptoms of food poisoning the next day.

Absolutely beautiful island that clearly hasn't been completely destroyed by big business and companies who dump into the ocean. The water is true to the photos, crystal clear and the sand is powder soft. My wife and I went on an excursion there and it did not disappoint
